Earth Day Project

In college I took a motion design class and made this short promo as an illustrative animation about our effects on the environment. I was often inspired by the environmentally conscious artists around me, and hope that they are still forging forward as innovators of more sustainable art and technology.

This project was aimed at helping kids understand the causes of global warming. It needs some refinement, but I think it is pretty apropos. It seems like a lot of times we do not see the corelation between what we do and how it affects the environment we live in. I see it very apparently when I go hiking and look down at the thick layer of smog covering our city and feel the rising temperatures here in Los Angeles.
I also designed these stickers, canvas bags, and t-shirts with "Atmo". He is our planet given a personality and face. If anyone is interested in purchasing shirts, stickers, or canvas bags please let me know.

If you want to make a bigger difference join Green Peace, who are actively changing legislation and being activists for our planet! Let's all do our daily part, but remind our legislator that this is important to us! If you live in California, you can also join Environment California. You can also make small differences by turning your car off when you are parked, biking and taking public transport, and of course Recycling! You can even recycle by turning some old items into new items. Check out Scrap!
